Site avatars & msg ptrs gone
A site I visit -- https://www.forumania.com/forums -- suddenly has a problem with my SeaMonkey browser that's never happened before. The avatars and message pointers e.g. pointer to first unread message have disappeared. Formerly they appears just to the left of the title of the thread. I haven't noticed any other browsing problems.
[EDITED TO ADD] Also, the formatting options e.g. quote, img etc. are gone. Everything seems to work fine using another browser besides SM.
What can be done to correct this?
Thanks.

Dan, thanks for responding.

Re: Site avatars & msg ptrs gone
Perhaps that is a clue for someone along with the fact that I don't have uBlock Origin (at least not knowingly as I run SM almost totally clean and lean). I have definitely not changed anything prior to the problem appearing.
Here is the top of what you show as it can be viewed by me...

- Have you tried clearing cache and cookies yet?
Could it be caused by your antivirus software ... ???
Have you tried, deleting (in the options) Lightning/5.8.1 from the user agent?
Cheers!!!

Turning off the virus software and clearing cache and cookies didn't help.

Bookmark at top Launch works, then doesn't work
NOTE: Problem appears to be intermittent.
I cleared my cache and cookies trying to solve another problem. Now I have a problem I didn't have before.
I have my bank login page bookmarked with an icon in the toolbar at the top. After launching SeaMonkey or apparently after a time lapse, using the address in the icon works fine to launch the bank login page. However, if I go to another site then try to use the icon or plug in the address in the icon again, this error pops up...
If I close SM and launch it again fresh, the icon and the address in the icon once again work fine the first time.An Error Occurred While Processing Your Request

Maybe you have some parameters in your bookmark link, which server doesn't like on occasions

Re: Site avatars & msg ptrs gone
Thanks, I'll check that.
Can anyone please help me solve the missing avatars, pointers, and formatting options tool bar?

Re: Site avatars & msg ptrs gone
Bingo! The Data Manager switch to "Allow" did the trick.
And, yes, I just now updated to 2.53.2.
Thanks so much.

Re: Site avatars & msg ptrs gone
Gentlemen, EXCEPT, the question is how did the Data Manager get modified to be in error without a PICNIC or PEBCAK.
