Hi all,
I have a strange issue, Seamonkey keeps running 2.48 version even after upgrade executing seamonkey-2.53.2.it.win64.installer.exe without receiving any error. I use Win10. Any idea which could help me ?

1) make backup of your profile,
2) update to SeaMonkey 2.49.5:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/seamonkey/releases/2.49.5/
3) make backup again,
4) read release notes for 2.53.2:
https://www.seamonkey-project.org/relea ... key2.53.2/
5) update to 2.53.2,
5) check if everything is OK.
Oh, wait! I forgot to write: UNINSTALL 32-bit SeaMonkey 2.48 before updating to 64-bit 2.49.5/2.53.2...

I suppose your 2.48 SM is 32bit whereas your SM 2.53.2 SM is 64 bit. If you did not uninstall the old version then this will be loaded when you use the shortcut on your desktop.
You can check if you have both installed in control panel -> programs and features
