My Tools > Clear Recent History... does nothing??
Repaired folder and checked "browser.cache.disk.enable;true"
Currently Thunderbird 77.0b2 20200511021338 but noticed in b1
Any thoughts?
thanks

I have Thunderbird set to not remember websites and links, accept third party cookies from visited sites and to keep them until I close Thunderbird.
Cache has a "Clear Now" button in Options > General under the Disk Space heading.

Re: Clear Recent History 77 beta
thanks, probably was a bit too brief.
Previously when you clicked on Tools > Clear Recent History a window would appear offering options to Clear All History on a time range basis for Browsing History, Cookies and Cache. This window does not appear in my 77b1 or 77b2.
A simple Ctrl+Shift+Delete was a convienient way to tidy-up, even if I do have Privacy > Web Content set to minimise acceptance and to clear cookies on exit also it's one less step than going to ..Disk Space > Clean Now to remove cache.
Hopefully this is a clearer explanation of what I have noticed with my 77b install and will generate some further advice

Re: Clear Recent History 77 beta
I hardly ever use that, but just tried it in TB 68.8.0 and see the "Clear Recent History" dialog window.
Then started TB 77.0b2 and can reproduce the issue.
I suggest you file a bug report at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
EDIT: Make a note that it works in 76.0b3 and is broken in 77.0b1.
