Picks up same single email again and again and none since

Hi

Since the 8th, one of my POP email accounts will only download the same single email every time it fetches messages!

The bar at the bottom says that there are many more to pick up.

I have tried repairing the folder. I have even tried deleting the email account and setting it up again from new, whereupon it downloaded hundreds of past emails and then stuck again at exactly the same email.

What can I do???

With Thunderbird shut down, Log onto the webmail page for the account and delete the oldest message not yet down loaded to Thunderbird.
