After a reboot (Windows 7) Thunderbird was back to a fresh install state - no accounts.
My profile folder still exists and the prefs.js contains my personal and work account settings. How can I re-link my profile to restore my previous configuration?

Thank you for the link.
It sort of worked as e-mail etc came back but the calendar is blank but that is just a nuisance.

I had experienced a similar problem, lost calendar and older emails. Renaming my prefs-#.js to prefs.js fixed it all.
