Reddit no longer works

Reddit quit working for me on all my PCs. Had 2.49.5 then upgraded to 2.53.2 today and no change. Reddit works with Firefox.

What does "quit working" mean? What error message (if any) are you seeing?

No error messages. I can view posts but can make posts or reply to posts. Usernames do not appear on the main page of sub reddit. It's as if one is not logged in. But works OK fine with FF.

Have you tried starting the program in Mozilla safe mode?

No, I have not tried. Please refresh my memory on how to start safe mode.

Menu path Help->Restart with addons disabled.

No change in safe mode or safe mode with add-ons disabled.

A thread in Pale Moon (that I have not looked at, much like I have not looked at this thread) that most likely applies, Reddit.com - infinte scroll and other issues on 28.9.3 64bit as of today.

I do not like the infinite scroll introduce by reddit, my computer will become sloooowwwwwwwwwwwww after some time.

I reverted to 'old Reddit' which made things like they used to be. Not sure how long they'll leave that active.

current Reddit site working fine on my end with recent SM 2.53.x build from wg9s

Both "new" and "old" Reddit seems to come up just fine on my system.
