App Question

I have been using Avast Free on my Win7 pc. and used PatchMyPc a portable software updater without trouble.
On installing Avast on my Win10 laptop, I get the following when using my app.

Not sure what your question is. What is the question? At a guess what you are posting about is a Windows system problem and not a Mozilla Firefox problem.

In any case, having a stab in the dark, I would try the following: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
OS: Windows 10 Pro. x64
