G'day folks.
I need to Export my passwords out of Firefox 78.0.2 but it appears this new Firefox Lockwise THING has no options to do so. Is there an option somewhere to Export passwords and I can't find it? Thanks Ax ![]() Moving to Firefox Support...

I went to the topic noted by "morat" copied his bit of script into my UserContent and as we say "Bobs yer uncle", problem sorted. Thanks Ax Hi again...
![]() Supplementary question. How do I excise, remove all passwords in Firefox in one go? I really don't want to sit here and Delete them one at a time. ![]() Thanks Ax ![]() Tools > Options > Privacy & Security > Saved Logins & hit the "Remove all" button.
Close & re-open Firefox. Ancient Amateur Astronomer

Ah! yes, well. There is no "Remove all" button, just the single Remove (Trash bin) button. Ax ![]() Sorry, but as I am not running v78 yet, cannot really assist.
Why do "they" keep changing/removing basic operations.....I don't know. Can you select one then use the SHIFT key to select the rest? Ancient Amateur Astronomer

If you want to remove all the logins then simply delete logins.json in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.
See the about:support page for a button to go to the profile folder.
Thanks for that thought . I was assuming something a bit more sophisticated than just deleting a file(s) in the Profile would be available. IIRC. Both logins.json and Key4.db need deleting, but of course I could be wrong. ![]() Thanks Ax ![]() The logins.json file contains the password., The Key4.db file holds the encryption key to allow use of the passwords which are stored in encrypted format. So just deleting the former is sufficient.
A very useful bit of info, the function difference between the two files.
Thanks Ax ![]() You're welcome.
