How to Stop audio with videos

All of a sudden I'm getting audio/video starting to play.

I've selected the "block audio" on the privacy and security preferences but still get videos starting and playing.

What to do?

You have to select "Block Audio and Video".

I checked the "Block Audio & Video" box but that didn't work!

I find it's not 100% at stopping everything. As long as you have both audio and video check that's as good as you can get. I also have some sites that auto play. ESPN is an example. I have to go into the settings on ESPN's page, and turn off auto play.

Yes, ESPN and some other sports websites seem to be the main culprits.

I"ll check out the settings for the sports websites to see if I can turn them off, if I can find them!
