EMAIL TOOLBAR ITEMS MISSING

Post by marico »

My email has gone completely weird. Struggled with it for hours. Finally got it back but it is totally different. Insert option is gone. When I click on an email it opens in my regular browser and I need to exit the browser to get back to email. ????
I am not a techie so I don't even know how to describe the problem.

Bit of a cop out, isn't it? Try screenshots, semaphore or just explaining better.

You are posting using Firefox 75, so I don't even know if you're posting in the right forum.

Btw, did I mention screenshots?

I am using SeaMonkey...The Firefox user agent was something the people in the SM forum suggested to me for another problem. It has been that way for several months and the email was just fine until yesterday. So I will google screenshots and try to send it. My email tool bar no longer shows the Insert and format tools. I have been googling to learn how to backup my profile so I can remove 2.53.3 and go back to 2.49 and see if that works. Thanks for your response. I will also check out how to do the screenshots.

Marion, just <ctrl> & <prnt scrn> simultaneously, then load it into a jpg editor, then save to your disk, then attach it to your message here.

Thanks.

By default, the Seamonkey Email client does not have Insert or Format toolbar buttons/items. Are you using an extension (addon) for those?

Those items do exist in Composer though, but that is not email.

As far as I'm aware this buttons are only available when you compose a new mail or reply or forward an existing mail
