I just got this new thing at the bottom of my screen. It is talking about Burnout/Millenials/Pocket. Is this some new sort of SPAM/POPUP crap? Is it from Mozilla? How do I stop that from happening again?

Does it say "Messages from Firefox" in small print at the top?

That is the "Snippets" item in the Home Page settings. Remove the check mark.

If it's not a built-in Firefox page, it's probably from that site or one of their advertisers or one of your add-ons.
