Video unavailable or unsupported

Two days ago I began receiving "video unavailable or unsupported" and "ERROR CODE: MEDIA_ERR_UNKNOWN" and the like at some sites I occasionally use. I had used one of the sites just 3 days ago. One of those statements displays when I click to see a video. FYI, YouTube continues to work fine. This occurs on Firefox and Chrome. The sites are homedepot.com/kids, americangreetings.com and jacquielawson.com. I've cleared browsing data and cookies and turned off hardware acceleration. Have not installed or modified any programs. Programs, etc are up to date current. Cable, Windows 10 on laptop. It feels like it should be just a click or adjustment away from correction. Any suggestions and assistance will be appreciated.
