Hello ~ I've been getting thousands of "undelivered mail returned to sender" bounceback emails within Seamonkey mail client for weeks now. And I have AVAST on my WIn 10 system, the paid version. So any viruses shouldn't be able to exist. Are these junk spam emails really being spewed out by my Seamonkey email client? And if so, how do I get it to stop??
thanks
John

It could be that someone used your email address as a fake.

The messages don’t have to come from your actual account for your address to appear as the sender. It is likely the spammers are spoofing your address and there isn’t much you can do about it.

Right, well thanks for the advice. Fortunately, the bouncebacks have dropped way down and have almost ceased. Fortunately, Seamonkey has this wonderful command Alt/T E which deletes all marked junk mail in folder.
