Anyone else having trouble getting to https://www.ipchicken.com/ ?

I get a message that the site can't be found. Clicking on Try Again or just doing a refresh gets you to the site and it lasts until you exit Fx.

I also have the problem raised in the previous thread about not being able to get here. Disabling uBlock Origin is the only way I can get here. Disabling this site only in uBO doesn't work.

Mozillazine is not giving me any problems here and I'm using uBO version 1.32.4 updated Jan 4,2021 I just it 'stock' I've not made any modifications to the addon.

Even on a blank profile, I get the problem as soon as I install uBlock Origin.
The page can stay blank, or partially loaded (most of the time the load animation never stops).
Sometimes the load is finished but the banner is missing, then unchecking and checking the background in CSS rules (devtools) triggers the load and makes it appear.

Seems if I go to other sites before this one I can get here. But it doesn't last.

A new profile works fine. I think it might be a pref or perhaps one of the Nightly experimental things. Time to track down the bugger.

Found the pref that was causing all my problems... user_pref("network.trr.mode", 2); I think I set it this way based on research on the web. I deleted it and all is fine.

I want to keep the pref set at 2 so I updated the following pref to get my two sites working.

network.trr.excluded-domains ipchicken.com,mozillazine.org

In fact setting network.dns.upgrade_with_https_rr to false is enough to avoid the issue, even with TRR enabled (HTTPS record is only used with TRR).
But looking in about:networking#dnslookuptool, forums.mozillazine.org or ipchicken.com have no HTTPS record (NS_ERROR_UNKNOWN_HOST) like most of the hostnames.

I don't know how would uBlock Origin have an impact, maybe it changes the timing.
