I just got spammed with a request to complete survey for Mozilla (https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/amps-survey-s1). I have all possible options to disable data being sent to Mozilla, yet they were still somehow able to cause my browser to spam me while visiting a page that is not connected with mozilla.com.
At first I was just going to put the entire mozilla.com IP space into a blackhole on my router, but they conveniently use Amazon's EC2 for their IP space.
How to I unequivocally and permanently disable ALL communication between the Firefox browser and mozilla unless I specifically visit one of their sites?

Clear enough, isn't it? THEY are in control, not you. And of course, THEY will use their control only for GOOD. Such as spamming you with leftist political

Looks like a copy of one of the Preference sections under Privacy & Security.

Let's get this back to a Firefox Support discussion. Global conspiracies and propaganda belong in the Tin Foil Hat forum -- http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3008069

How do we get back to something which never was? The way my brain works is that the most plausible theory wins the day until a more plausible theory comes along, and since there is only one theory so far it wins.DanRaisch wrote:Let's get this back to a Firefox Support discussion. This invasion of my browser, Mozilla's hijacking DNS from the OS, and Mitchell's Blog about taking control over what people are allowed to read on the Internet have made me uneasy about my privacy with Firefox and caused me to stop using Firefox, at least for the time being. It's the first time in 27 years that I have made a "non-Netscape" browser my everyday, default browser. It's an unfortunate usurpation of the organization. Hopefully the cancer hasn't metastasized too much and can be removed before it kills the entire organization. Unfortunately, it looks like Mitchell has been for Mozilla what Eddie Lampert was for Sears.
