First noticed in FF 85.0.1 Ubuntu.
I realise you've got to make money & all but this could be the final straw for me.

There is a half dozen or more settings for the link dickvl provided
about:config => browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.showSponsored
Search for about:config => browser.newtabpage. - some of the items which show can be neutralized.
Also look at search; moving to newtabpage.
Frankly blocking pretty near everything which uses newtabpage may be helpful
