on shrink FF disappears

I'm running FF 85 and when I click on the shrink down button in the top right. the toolbars at the top of the screen shrink down, but all the webpages disappear. There are time's I'm trying to work back and forth between two programs, say I look up directions on how to operate another program, I want the two side by side, not back and forth. I have looked but didn't find anything. I know I'll probably do a face palm when I see it, but for the life of me, it's just not visible .

Did you try dragging down the bottom border of that window?

I knew it had to be something stupid. Thank you for pointing that out to me. FF didn't do that the last time I used it. I've never seen a browser that did, but I haven't seen that many.
