Another site fails with SeaMonkey.

Post by write_again »

LinkedIN.com is no longer usable with Seamonkey.
I am using SeaMonkey/2.53.5.1

All I see in a white page with the "in" logo in the upper left.

I did find a way to contact LinkedIn (and report this error to prove it isn't just me.)
Use Firefox:
Click on Me
Click on Help
Click on Open Help in New Tab
Click on LinkedIn Homepage - FAQs
Scrool to the bottom of th page
Click on Contact us
Fill out the form.
They also allow you to upload a screenshot.

Are you sure it is fully working. It only loads part of the page contents for me.

Works for me with W10 Pro. Where do you see issues?

Nick etal,

Here's the way it ought to look...

Image

And here's the way I see it...

As you can see, the top line(s) are missing in the 2nd image.

Peter,

You are correct... I am able to do everything, including editing profile, etc., but the page is clearly broken in SM.

As is life, so just use M$ Edge Beta for this one, rather spammy and crappy, site.

I use the 'Open With' extension, version 6.8.6, as a timesaver. You just right click on any page or link that is a problem and select the relevant option and it will open that immediately in Firefox, Edge Beta or anything else.

Your method also works though.
