There is something seriously wrong somewhere. This time, the Tool Bar suddenly disappeared, as it changed its setting from Always Show to Only Show on New Tab, and Menu Bar was deselected.
I am close to abandoning Fx after many years given the continuous problems presented by FX 90.

No need to abandon FF, just stop at 88 or earlier.
I have been trying to maintain FF simply as a browser since day one and have accomplished that to my satisfaction over the years.
I don't mean the whining about colors, sizes, placement, etc.
I manually installed 90 from Debian and it is no longer recoverable as a simple browser.
I have returned to 88 and there I shall remain since updates are not required in Linux.

I have though about reverting to Fx 89.* under Windows 10, but am reluctant (for no valid reason.) I prefer to update programs, and I hope that an updated Fx 90.8 will eventuate with at least some problems fixed.
