Just installed and after playing it for a while, i uninstalled it.

The reason is, I suspect it is not only a simply anti-phishing toolbar, but it will also track which websites you have visited, for their Netcraft TopSite Statistic purpose.

Same here, found it tracked the sites I was visting.

So a Spyware application that blocks Phishing.

In a less, umm, -impolite- manner than dear VCV a message above me, I do say that good anti-phishing beats tracking your sites.
I mean, it's not like we're conspiring agains the Dark Empire (*cough* Microsoft *cough*) or something - oh, wait..

Anybody whose intelligent enough to use firefox and to install an anti phishing toolbar should be intelligent enough to spot a phishing attack anyway

hatton, that's very circular logic and completely irrelevant - even the smartest of people can fall down a trap

Also, tho we'd like to believe so, not all FF users are smart - they were smart enough to make the switch, true, and yet you show excessive belief in the human kind - with which I have to disagree

I agree with vcv.

I installed the Netcraft Toolbar and it is a nice extension. Not ground breaking, but somewhat helpful, and it works well with tabbed browsing. Yes, it does send a request to netcraft when you go to a new site, but that request just contains the domain name of the site you visited - nothing more from what I could see.

The only qualm I have is that I wish the informational part of the toolbar was fixed width and I could use the FireFox toolbar customize feature to place it whereever I want. Right now, it takes up an entire toolbar area, but only about 1/3rd of the area is used.

P.S. Does someone have a site or two that are actual phishing sites? I'd like to see what it does.

takes a bip space. I like it but I didnt like the toolbar idea. I dont like the toolbars at all. Who does?
