Hi, I need to create a message with a particular sender name and email, time, body and attachment and place it on inbox folder, or, if not possible, in any other.
There is a way?
If not, can I somehow create a meassage.eml file and import it?
Thanks for support

The header tools improved add-on at https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/th ... ed/?src=ss lets you edit an existing message.

You could also save an existing message as a .eml file (file -> save as -> file) , edit it using Notepad and then use the ImportExportTools NG add-on to import that message. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/th ... ng/?src=ss

I'm not sure about saving the time in the email or saving it in your Inbox, but I have done something very similar by creating a template and saving it in the Templates folder. This allows you to specify most things (including attachments) and then lets you use the template whenever you want. It is very similar to just creating a draft email except that the template isn't deleted once used.

To create a template just writing a new email and then choose File -> Save As -> Template to save it automatically in the Templates folder.

I was going to suggest this as I don't find a "Templates" folder. << probably the best answer from mtalbot.

You can create a blank template (just an unused emaill) and place it into your Inbox and include the information you want
When you are ready to send that email, "right click" and select copy to "Drafts"
Open the "Drafts" copy, complete the email and send it.
You will still have a copy in your Inbox. This will work placing the original in "Drafts" and copy to "Inbox" as well.
As indicated there might be an issue with the date/time stamp but it should carry the date/time of when you send it.
You can also drag/drop the template to your PC in a safe directory in case you send the template by mistake. Just drag it back to the "Inbox" directory to get back to normal.

See this screen shot of TB -- toward bottom Templates

I often take a long windy road to my destination. Upon arrival, I wonder how I missed the shortcut.
