Cannot open mail

I see that TB has been updated to version 102.3.. How do I open mail messages?? Use to be clicking on a mail item it would open; now it does nothing!!!!

Do you have the preview pane open below (or alongside) the message list pane?
What happens when you double click on the subject in the message list pane?

ok....When you first start TB it does not open the last message. You need to double click a message. After that first double click, messages will open in the preview pane. This is different then the way it has always worked before Also had to change a seting as to where the mesages are to be displayed.

I'm using Thunderbird 102.3.0 under Windows 11Pro. I use the message preview pane too and only need a single click. A double click opens the message in a tab (due to the "Open messages in" radio button in tools -> settings)

Perhaps you need to adjust your mouse settings in the windows settings app .
