What do all these checkins that say "Automated update from host egg" mean?

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050623 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005062310

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/f ... -07-trunk/

Every time I go to FTP from the 24th to this date I get the following. No major changes on my system since DLing the 23rd.

Dialog box

downloading ---

c:\Documents and Settings\Mynane\local\temp\fly4ghdy.exe could not be saved

Source could not be read

Second Dialog box

426 Failure Writing Network Stream

When I right clikc to save it, the file seems to not even be there, saves, gets the whiole file, but does not change to the installer ICON the 23rd and before do. I defragged my drives, and then tried it again, but the files don't download.

In AW, it uses the IE engine, so I have signs in AW to click to DL and the Trunk directories only showed to the 23rd there. I have restarred the system, done fresh installs, yet this is persistant.

Yeah, it's a download bug in the latest trunk. Sometimes it can work when re-installing a later hourly build, but it only works for that session. When it closes, it seems like it writes something to compreg.dat in the profile folder that gives problems with left-click downloading.

I notice some jumping around in the Extension window also.

Getting the latest trunk/tinderbox builds from ftp.mozilla.org is not the most reliable in being up to date, as when you connect to ftp.mozilla.org, you are connecting to one of the United States mirrors.

I use http://mozilla.osuosl.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/

Yes, mind does also, however...I am fairly certain that w.o.o.m. intended for the EM to behave this way during his rework on the EM.

The bug to fix the auto scrolling of extension manager is

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=298704

it already has a working patch attached

Same here it really does jump allover. Had to install 1.0.4 to even get this build

Ackhem... I NEVER intended for it to work that way... it is rather evil IMO :P the bug for this which I filed and wrote the patch for is
#298704[Toolkit]-richlistbox should call ensureElementIsVisible and not scrollToElement in selectedItem [All]

and it was caused by

#298524[Toolkit]-Add init() method to richlistbox [All]

which was to fix the problem where the last selected element was one off when opening the EM and a couple of other issues.

Finally got this to dl and work, most extensions work without issue, FroecastFOX is intermittent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.

Himmmm, I have no idea why it shows like that.
It seems Kerz made a modification to the forum, I need to add a space for it to properly display
