can't access yahoo finance

i used to be able to access yahoo finance, then oneday i couldn't access it anymore. I uninstalled 1.4 ver and then downloaded 1.5 ver. and reinstalled. still running into same issue. yahoo finance link can't be accessed before timeout. has anyone else experienced this issue or have solution. thanks.

how will you be able to check through a link if the problem resides on my computer?

when i launch ie6, i have no problems getting in. but mozilla gives me this error message -
The operation timed out when attempting to contact finance.yahoo.com

any help you can give is greatly appreciated. i like using mozilla but its frustrating not being able to access the finance section.
