i would suggest using a mod portal for the type of forums selected, that way it is completely integrated and is easier to maintain

the word ...zilla is not exclusively of MoFo.

There are other projects using it. FileZilla, a ftp program, has the name with ...zilla. And I think the name (I'm not sure) comes from GodZilla.

So I still vote for BabelZilla

BabelZilla

I'd prefer BabelZilla, too.
extenl10n really doesn't flow that nicely to my ear.
I don't think MoFo can say anything in general on names ending in "zilla"... or at least I hope so! ;) Asking them wouldn't hurt.
And while we're there, why not reuse the original name from the Italian site? i.e. call the new one EXTENZILLA.ORG.

Ciao to the Italian guys and congrats for the initiative, I'll try to make my tiny extension l10n compliant soon. :-"

I'm a member of the extenzilla.it staff and of course I'll give my support, too. :)

I like very much babelzilla, too. Even extenzilla.org would be nice, but I think that this new project should have a name which differs from all other national projects name, not to let the normal user think that this project derives from one single national project

I also translated some extensions into Dutch and I think this is a great idea. I think BabelZilla is the best name I heard so far, so I'd prefer that one.

I change my vote

BabelZilla : +1

In the future, maybe we will translate other things than extensions...

Has anyone started this project up? I'll be very interested to see how it goes.

I'm just having an agreement right now with somebody having an unused license for an IPB forum and one server which could host the project. :D

I'll keep you informed!

And I'm the one :D

So, we have a server and an IPB for the project and interested people.

Make your decision about the name and we can start it :)

Great news!!!! Now we have the hosting and the license fot an IPB forum (the donor of both things will post here soon to introduce himself). Edit: he has already written just above this my post
The most important issue is now to choose the definitive name for the project, allowing me in this way to buy a domain ;)
So, please people, keep voting for your favourite name!
