How do you get your sidebar to appear on the right instead of the left. Is this some sort of extension that gives this option?

It is the theme which makes the call I use the default 2.0 Gerich and Horlander.
There are a number of various themes available /TOOLs/Themes.....tap the get more themes link and you will go to an add-ons-mozilla page which lists them and the descritptions.
