As part of a plan to reduce the disk space burden on our mirrors and focus them on the most popular downloads, we're setting up an in-house mirror of ftp.mozilla.org. At the moment it lives at ftp-test.mozilla.org. It hosts the content via HTTP and FTP just as with the existing ftp.mozilla.org. The content gets updated every ten minutes. If you all have a particular mirror bookmarked, or just want to help us test things out, please start using http://ftp-test.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/ and ftp://ftp-test.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/ to get your nightly builds. Thanks.
Note: I changed all download links on this page to the new server

After these I've now disabled greasemonkey, so I don't know if that helps yet.

dimitrisp - FYI you don't need Tweak Network if you have Fasterfox.
Did disabling greasemonkey help ?

too early to say - i get ~1 crash per day. I'll post first crash.

FYI Greasemonkey 0.62 wasn't even working, upgrading to 0.63 still not, so disabled until 0.64 released.

no crash since GM disabled :)

I hadn't had a crashing problem over the last few days, but I just submitted TB11328677X . I don't know how to tell if it is part of Bug 314484. I have a number of extensions, including Platypus, but Greasemonkey has not been installed since I created my current profile.

So are we still looking at today for 1.5 RC 1? Just curious.

I think they want to have the localisations ready aswell. If you use the latest, it's allready RC1+.
The .mar's are in place so theoretically 1.5b2 should be able to (incr.) update to 1.5rc1

I have noticed something interesting, and I'm wondering if it's related to the red PNG slow-performance bug.

If one goes to http://forums.applenova.com/forumdispla ... e39418&f=4 as an example and hit the autoscroll button (middle mouse button) and slowly scroll down on the page, you see the page split in half and update each section at different speeds, until it scrolls further down at which point they seem to sync up and go at the regular speed.. Seems like weird behavior to me.

And another one at TB11334745M .

Running very smooth here with latest nightly........maybe some regressions on FAYT, but besides that everything seems very smooth. I'm using the nightly tester toll for incompatible extensions, this is also very nice. And for the first time i'm using Update channel selector for autoupdate. It also seems to work the way it should. But a question for those more firmilar with channel selector;

As i'm using nightly branch builds, is it correct to choose nightly (and not beta) when choosing update channel? Maybe i have misunderstood something, but i cant understand how it chooses between trunk and branch builds this way? Both are nightlies right? Or...?

I emailed the author which quickly replyed (Thanks Mossop, really what its all about being in contact with the users) saying;

All my extension does is set the update channel, it knows nothing about
branches and trunks. It's up to you to choose the right update channel. As
it happens, the trunk receives nightly updates only, while the branch
receives, nightly, beta and release updates.

Can anyone lay it out for me? At least it looks like i have chosen the correct channel by chosing Nightly...............
