Can anyone build the latest G5 branch build please? It hasn't been updated since the 13th.

I built a G5 1.5 Release Candidate 3 kit some new code optimizations including the two new Javascript changes that I backported.

Where is it mmoy?

http://www.pryan.org/mozilla/firefox/mmoy/OSX/ doesn't show that build.

EDIT: Ignore it mmoy, I see it over at vector64.

howesey, I'm pretty sure nothing has changed in the branch since the 11th or 12th, hence the lack of updates. But I'll spin another build anyway. Going to bed now. I'll upload it when I get up. Cheers.

A lot of changes have seemed to have happened. I said to BlueFyre that FX has had a huge speed inrcrease on his windows build, it appears to be the same on the OSX builds too.

There were two Javascript changes that went into the trunk recently that have made a pretty big change in JS performance. Windows builders have simply backported the changes to the trunk into the branch.

Humm, after playing at runescape.com (runs a java applet), the mouse wheel in OSX seems to stop working in FX. If I quit FX it works again.

Known bug?

I've always found Firefox on Mac/OSX to be flaky with Java. Especially with games that the kids play.

mmoy, can you point me in the direction of these JS changes? I haven't been keeping an eye on the trunk builds, choosing to focus on the branch instead.

Hi everyone, I am new to this scene and have a quick question:

I have managed to compile my own version of Firefox 1.5 and provided that I keep the mozilla folder (where the source is) the Deerpark.app that the compilation process makes works fine. If I copy the Deerpark.app to my Applications folder and then delete the mozilla folder then Deerpark will nolonger run - am I doing something stupid here?

I usually package it up and then install it.
