Changing default download manager
I changed my default download manager from Firefox's Download Manager to Download Accelerator Plus (a different program). But now I think that my DAP program is not running well so I want to change back my default download manager to Firefox's Download Manager. Can you show me how? By the way I can't change my options in DAP.

Are you using Flashgot to integrate your external download manager into Firefox? You can stop it launching (I think) by selecting Tools>Flashgot>More Options>Downloads and deselect Autostart Downloads and Intercept All Downloads.
If you haven't got Flashgot get it here
https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/m ... =10&id=220
Not sure if that will work but its worth a try

Nope I'm not using Flashgot. I can't also download that because of my DAP problem.

What browsers does Download Accelerator Plus support?
Download Accelerator Plus supports all leading browsers, including: Internet Explorer 4.x / 5.x / 6.x, Netscape 4.x / 6.x / 7 and Opera 4 / 5 / 6, but some of it's features ( i.e. DAP's toolbar) only works in Internet Explorer 4 and above.

How can I uninstall Download Accelerator Plus?
To uninstall Download Accelerator Plus, either use the Uninstall utility under DAP's program group in the Start menu, or the Windows Control Panel "Add/Remove Programs" utility.
The change will take effect after you restart your browser. NOTE: Please make sure to exit Download Accelerator Plus before starting the uninstall operation.

How to integrate DAP into the Mozilla browser ?
1. Copy the file 'dapop.dll' from 'DAP' folder (C:\Program Files\DAP) into the 'Plug-Ins' folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Plug-Ins)
2. Rename the copied file from 'dapop.dll' to 'npdap.dll'
Your DAP is now integrated into the Mozilla browser.

... is interesting. DID you put that file in the firefox folders somewhere? if so did you REMOVE it after you unisntalled dap?
given that dap is known to be rather weird - despite their "110 million users can't be wrong!" statement - you really otta consider another dl manager. i use "free downlaod manager" and flashgot with firefox support UNchecked in FDM. works just spiffy ...
take care,
lee
