scroll down or up with the arrow keys the page flies to the very bottom or top. It happens with all sites I tried but not with IE. What happened?

Never had the problem myself, but <a href="http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=355439&highlight=arrow+bottom+key+scroll">it seems you're not the only one</a> to have encountered it.

Well, that is a partial work around, however, it is hard to find text that doesn't open a link. The thing is, I've had 1.5 for about a week now and had never had this problem. This is insane!

howdy ratchet,

you may have turned on caret browsing. looke ...
http://www.mozilla.org/access/keyboard/proposal
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Accessibility.browsewithcaret

it's a toggle done with the f7 key. try hitting f7 and see if that fixes it.

take care,

I was having this problem when I used page down "pg dn" on my keyboard. I took me quite a while to find this forum post. F7 worked great. Thanks. Just wanted to make sure "page down" and "pg dn" get picked up by the search engines.
