Image Zoomer 0.1
Xpi: http://downloads.mozdev.org/database/mirror/imageZoomer-v0.1.xpi
Does: - adds two items to the context menu for images: Zoom In, Zoom Out
- Zoom In doubles the image's dimensions
- Zoom Out halves the image's dimensions
Issues: - as this is my first extension, expect many
- No options yet
- I plan to place items under a Zoom submenu
- needs more magnifications
- localized and more detailed feedback
- Esperanto translation is most likely incorrect
- see also: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=25288
Source borrowed from: copyimage, goto, nukeimage, useragentswitcher, and others probably

[edit] updated xpi link (thanks for the mirror)

Works perfect except the xpi doesn't ask to be installed when I click on it like most extensions. I just saved to disk and then used file-->open in fb.
Besides that works perfect so far. I don't know if you mentioned it in the prior thread but is the next version going to add an option "-return to original size".

The XPI needs to be served with a MIME type of application/x-xpinstall to auto-install.

Yeah, I'm planning on that, thanks. Pike wrote:The XPI needs to be served with a MIME type of application/x-xpinstall to auto-install.
OK, I've updated my webserver. alanjstr wrote:Submit the extension and we can work around the mimetype problem.
I submitted it around the same time I made the original post. If someone has better hosting than my home pc over a cable modem, then feel free to host it.
thanks!

and your mail to database [at] moazdev.org got identified as possible spam by SpamAssasin, so it got put in the moderation queue

Hello, what a great idea of extension.
But after install, i get this ugly message in my status bar :
//<menuitem id="context-zoominimage"
---^// (note: slash are start and end)
and of course no context menu option !
This with Firefox 0.8 on Win XP Pro, I tried to uninstall firefox & all my profile and start again... the same

Hello diesel_jackass,
I just wanted to let you know that I have combined the three extensions Copy Image v0.3, Show Image v0.2, and Image Zoomer v0.1 into a package that combines all three. Also the package I have constructed is now compatible with both Mozilla and Firefox.
I hereby request your permission to include your code in the extension I have constructed (with credit where credit is due of course) so that I may post it on sboulema's extensions mirror.
Thanks,
brody

I can't seem to get this to work with FB 0.8, I downloaded it to the the firebird folder. Am I supposed tp be doing anything else with it besides putting it in the profile folder? I am very new to Mozilla anything.
