Thunderbird's new 'server side filtering' feature: Where???

So, I waited impatiently for the new "Integration with server side spam filtering" feature that's listed in the release notes - I would pay good money not to have to press the mailwasher 'process mail' button whenever I need to check my mail in thunderbird.
I went through every options - and - nothing. I can't see any option screen to configure it. Did I miss something or did that simply not get integrated as part of the 1.5 release? Tools >Options >Privacy >'E-mail scams' tab >tick the radio button option >Close
>restart Thunderbird. This wont get it all, use it with continuous Junk training. A prisoner of Christ Jesus, by His stripes I was healed
I think it is in "Tools | Junk Mail Controls", "Trust junk mail header set by:".
If your mail server runs, for instance, SpamAssasin on all incoming mail, you can tell Thunderbird to mark messages as junk according to the added headers added by SpamAssasin Extensions for Thunderbird: <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_cs">Contacts Sidebar</a>, <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_ts">Timestamp</a> and <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_aes">Allow Empty Subject</a>
So it's not true user-defined filtering, just spam filtering? Like, the integration doesn't allow me to filter certain emails into specific folders server-side?
Ouch. I already got mailwasher to filter out the spamassassin flag stuff. Is there no way to integrate tbird and mailwasher in 1.5? As in, I click the tbird check mail button and it itself triggers the mailwasher check/process mail in the background?
TIA!
No, like the release notes say, it is a server site spam filtering integration. If you are looking for "regular" filtering, take a look at "Tools | Message Filters..."
As far as I know, no. Extensions for Thunderbird: <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_cs">Contacts Sidebar</a>, <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_ts">Timestamp</a> and <a href="http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_aes">Allow Empty Subject</a>
