[Update for 1.0 PR] Super Drag and Go

You're right, it didn't work at all (when adapting the patch for Super DragAndGo, I confused startDrag and dragStart in the onLoad bit). I've updated my instructions above to the necessary changes for Schrade's version above. Saving images through drag&drop should now work without creating a temporary file. The only thing that won't work any longer is the possibility of dragging an image over into an image editor (this requires a temporary file being created - however since I can't distinguish between this case and the case of an image being drag&dropped over Firefox, I chose to completely disable this feature).
One thing I'm not able to get working is saving an image to a user selected folder. This should work with my patch, but in my case doesn't work neither with nor without it. Saving through Firefox' download manager works flawlessly.

no one reply me?jasonhk wrote:hey, i found a little problem,
i am using v2.4, firefox 1.5,
if i selected the text of the link, then i drop the "link",
it will open google search "the text of the link",
not open the url of the link,
in this case,i think open the url of the link is more sensible, it is right ?

Why would you select the text of the link, if you wanted to drag the link itself in the first place? You'd not have any other way of making the difference between wanting to drag the link and its text. So I'd say that the current behavior makes sense (in order to drag a link, no text must be selected, since dragging the selection - i.e. the selected text - takes precedence on dragging an unselected element).

Install the version available on the official website - that one probably won't ever expire due to a version change (Schrade's version currently is limited to Firefox 1.5).

Lanik your link produced a file that is only 1kb in size. Super Drag & Go I believe is at least 10kb.
Something is not right although I am interested in the v2.6 Security repaired version if you
could repost it or a link where it can be found.
Thanks

Going to post the URL again. This is for Super DragAndGo v2.4d1 with the Security Patch applied. maxVersion on it is set to 1.6. It works perfectly fine with Firefox v1.5, etc.
