Sorry I havent had time to post lately and I don't have time to start threads for all the old builds. I'm including all the fixes in the past few days in this thread.

I'm running the 01-31-06 build and it seems that my delete key no longer works when trying to delete a message. Can anyone confirm this? I am not running any extensions, and I delete messages every day with the delete key, so it just started with today's build. Clicking delete on the toolbar works fine though.

Did anyone else notice that * Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060129 Thunderbird/1.5 ID:2006012904 * updated directly to * Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060131 Thunderbird/1.5 ID:2006013104 * , skipping 20060130 ? I'm sure there's some logical reason but it's the first time I'd seen one skip a date.............

@Banditz71: That's only, because the update-system was broken in the last days.

Pictures and Instructions on Right Hand Side - Gone?

Post by Oldfart »

I'm using

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060201 Firefox/1.5 with nightly updates -

But I've been away for a couple of weeks. What happened to all the pretty (theme) pictures and instructions which used to appear on the right hand side when you had only the name of the account folder focused (ie like 'Local Folders' or 'Gmail') rather than your subfolders, which, of course, show your emails on the rhs. I find the completely blank rhs window rather disconcerting...

Starting within the past 2 or 3 days (nightlies), I've noticed that when starting to write a new message, my main address book (side bar) will be empty.......I have to select another, like the Collected addresses, then go back to my main one and it'll be there. Anyone else seen this behavior? Thanks!

Currently I'm using

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060127 Thunderbird/1.6a1 ID:2006012706

When I run the update, I got the error message:

AUS: Updated XML File Malformed (200)

Does anyone know what's the problem is? Thanks

What about the bug that does not allow creating new folders for the filters? I reported the bug a while back and now I uploaded the latest build and the bug is still there. I was wondering what what the prioroty of the bug since, while it does not hamper the TB as such, it is VERY ANNOYING...

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060204 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2006020503

In the above mentioned build I see a new(?) menu item in the editor, menu 'Edit'. It says 'Paste without Formatting'. However, I haven't yet scceeded in getting it to work, e.g. insert some text from the clipboard. Does anybody here know what that menu item is supposed to do? Is there a bug assigned which is solved by the item?

Cheers,
Thomas

Hm. Regular nightly builds become created every day, but I can see no regular changelists for those builds here as before :-(
Is there a place to find info about bugfixes and new features in trunk builds?
