How do I pull up my favorite/bookmark in the navigation box?

You know like in IE, you can simply pull up your favorite/bookmark via the address/navigation box without having to go into the bookmark search function.

That is my only problem with Firefox.

What do you want? You can try to open your bookmarks in the sidebar. View -> Sidebar-> Bookmarks

I don't get completely what you are trying to do...

You can drag&drop bookmarks from the bookmarks menu into the address bar and the other way round you can add bookmarks directly from the address bar using drag&drop...

What are you missing? Why the search function?

I think what ExCIA wants can be done with keywords (if I read his question correctly).
