Hi everyone,
When I click on a pdf links in web pages I get the dialog windows allowing me to either "save to disk" or "open with /usr/bin/gpdf(default)".
I wish to change my default pdf viewer from gpdf to evince, I've already aptituded it.
The application itself is located under /usr/bin/evince.
My Debian is the default stable install, with FireFox coming from backports.org
I've tried to look around in the FireFox FAQ & googled but haven't found anything related.
Thank you.

How do I configure default pdf viewer for FF 1.5 on Debian ?

Hi Ol Grumpy,
I went as you suggested to the downloads/ view&edit but pdf was not listed there.
I have from backports firefox 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-3bpo1 which is called firefox w/ gnome support.
A pipe? I'm not sure I understood this. You mean like a shell (bash) pipe? If so then from where? Does firefox pipes the whole pdf stream into stdin of evince / gpdf ?
Thank you,
Maxim.
