You can find the builds here:

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/ ... 10-08-1.5/

This respin fixes the following problems with release candidate 2:

1) A security hole in JS that went into Mozilla 1.5 (the main reason I respun these bits)

2) A variety of bug fixes which should address problems opening attachments where the "Open With" radio button was coming up disabled and without the default helper app filled in for windows. This happened most often when opening an attachment that was encoded as application/octet-stream but was really a valid mime type like a PDF or a word document. Thunderbird was showing the content type as application/octet-stream in the helper app dialog and was also disabling the open option. That should be fixed now.

3) Took the patch in Bug #220611 which fixes a regression in thunderbird when trying to open bin hex encoded attachments.

4) Unthreading now resorts the view (Bug #218656)

5) Fix the address book toolbar so the buttons are on top and the text is below the button not to the right of it. Also, implement "just icons" and "just text" modes for the customized address book toolbar.

My goal is to ship 0.3 when Mozilla 1.5 final bits go out.

I don't know if ftp://ftp.mozilla.org and http://ftp.mozilla.org are two different machines or one is just a web interface for the other, but I've checked both and the folder and file aren't on either.

That's weird. I forgot they were tweaking the FTP servers to reflect a different directory structure, but that still doesn't explain the /pub/mozilla/pub repetition. Funky stuff.

Can't get it. Not http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/ ... 10-08-1.5/ here and not ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/pub/t ... d/nightly/

After accessing ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/
and going down the structure to /pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/2003-10-08-1.5/ I got it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they'll eventually whack off the first "/pub/mozilla." They forces that be are completely duplicating the site structure of the current mozilla directory (or so it appears).

May want to edit your post for the people just looking to download and not read, mscott.

I did. I checked every link on this thread, and then did some exploring of my own of http://ftp.mozilla.org and ftp://ftp.mozilla.org
I keep getting errors 550 and 404 (depending on the link).
