Why 1.5.0.2 as next version without 1.5.0.1?
Why will the next version of TB be 1.5.0.2 although there's no 1.5.0.1 out? Just to keep the same version as Firefox?

another reason:
because 1.5.0.2 contains the same set of security fixes in firefox 1.5.0.2 and it's important that people realize they are getting the same set of fixes instead of thinking "oh what about all the security fixes that went into fx 1.5.0.2, does tb 1.5.0.1 have them?" And it keeps us sane at moco by knowing the .0.2.x builds all contain the same set of fixes instead of thinking well that's .0.2 for product A and .0.1 for product B...

Hi,
Huh!!!
Is this a spam?
If not why did you post that link? It has nothing to do with thunderbird.
Micro$oft Insecure Exploiter is bad. It has many security issues, plus the ActiveX technology causes unauthorised software installations and spreading of worms. And it is so old. And is obsloete.

I see it now on FTP...
but you said that 1.5.0.2 contains the same set of security fixes in firefox 1.5.0.2
but here http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/rumbling ... 5-0-2.html
there is only 321987 as security fix
How much important is this release from security aspect?
Thanks
