#-o i just realized that i type a "-" instead of "+" in the file name and that's what messed it up.

Homepage on new tabs

Post by q6o0 »

One feature I liked with TMP is the opening your homepage on creation of a new tab. Could you add this feature?

Hi,
very useful extension indeed.
Since I installed it, though (0.7.7 and then upgraded to 0.7.8), I've got a problem: the browser.tabs.opentabfor.searchbar preference (used by the TabBrowser Preferences extension to divert searchbar results in a new tab) is not honoured anymore.
Obviously I'm cross-posting on the TabBrowser Preferences thread as well.
Any solution/work-around/hint is welcome.

two/three clicks to close

Post by Lost User 59366 »

Don't know if your extension is the place for this or not, but to prevent accidental closures it would be nice to be able to set the close button to require more than just one click, to require at least one click (=>two total)after gaining focus before closing.

interesting... i just get rid of the close boxes altogether and use middle-click tab for closing tabs.

I guess habit and I use the close box as an indicator of active tab. Much clearer to me than all other ways of indicating active tab. Also for users who don't know about middle click, etc.

I have an issue. At least in my iPox theme, if you drag a tab to re-order them, the indicator doesn't show. Disable your extension and it works. So it's extension specific. ;)

And how do I make the tab drop down menu to be right justified? Centered looks odd.

Good work though. Keep it up!

the reason the tab drop down menu is centered is because of your theme's code, not my code.
in other themes, the menu is left-justified.
in yours, it's centered, because the alignment gets inherited from the tab bar alignment (which is centered).

the tab drag indicator was intentionally hidden because it gets messed up when using the different tab bar modes.
this is a known issue and i'll work on it after school gets out in june.

Do you know what code that is or what file is in? Thanks for the update. I had a feeling you'd say that.
