Hopefully someone will release the modified version. I think it was cdn.

I will be uploading the 'Classic' from Px 0.4 to themes.m.o, although the Px devs did the initial convert

Should it still be called 'Classic' ?

It wouldn't be much of a stretch to port Moz Classic to Px, just needs icons for Bookmarks/Downloads/History etc, any artists feeling Retro ?

I think it should be Orbit something, since it was based on Orbit.

"Original Phoenix Orbit" ? Maybe this needs a thread of its own.

Aaaaah, the beauty of open source! I luv it. As to the name, how about "OrbitCL" (=OrbitCLassic)? Not that creative but explicative and has a nice sound to it.
Could you post here when you have uploaded it? Thx.

I like it, although I think the "Original" part is unnecessary.

Originally I voted against Qute as the default theme, but now that I have downloaded the latest nightly it looks very professional. Phoenix is coming along well and now looks very solid as well. Good work Qute theme it looks great for the default.

I have to agree. Based on the screenshot posted on mozillaZine [http://www.mozillazine.org/misc/phoenixqute.png], the new theme has some visual consistency issues, the most irritating is that some of the buttons are "flat"-style, while others have an isometric perspective. Just compare the Back, Forward, Reload, and Stop buttons -- "one of these is not like the others..."

I really liked Orbit, and will almost certainly install and use it as my Phoenix theme. I have to wonder, why was the switch made? What exactly is being gained by making this switch?

Change the screenshot guys...I looked at it and hated it. After downloading though, it's a totally different experience. I do feel the new blue flat hover over the file, edit, etc buttons is inconsistent with the nav and toolbar hover effect though.

IMNSHO, the former default Phoenix theme that looked like Orbit should never have been called "classic" in the first place.

Any news on that? No hassle, just eager to get back to my favourite interface ;)
