just uninstall local install, close firefox and follow the first set of instructions here:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=394723
after restarting firefox, reinstall local install and then do a Tools|Make All Compatible from the Addons window.

toolbar buttons where hosed because the whole overlay was hosed, so non of the feature in the main browser worked nor the features in EM/TM/Addons since both windows had the "Get More.." links in the menus. I think I've removed all other dependencies so this shouldn't happened again with any other feature/string changes, but I'll double-check.

Thanks those did help. I ended up just deleteing the prefs.js and launching FF after that everything played nice. I guess there was something in there FF didn't like.
BTW, thanks for an early release Mel, I and everyone else appreciate it.

Would you like to remove the Extension installation delay?
This feature is in place as a security safegaurd,

No, since you can disable it in the options menu.

On the latest nightly I get a window at the bottom of the screen as wide as my icons with the menu and the bookmark bar, saying <menuitem id="UMOExtensionContextPopup1"----^
When I disabled Local install 5.1 it went away, thus I attribute this problem to the latter
Apologies, if it was posted again

Mel; (You May remember me from when I was having trouble with MTLI and the Mac Installations back in the day....)
I Think from what I have read that there is a Fixed version of MTLI, but I cannot find it, Is there a procedure to get it to work or have you
released a fixed version, I can't find it...
Sorry for all the troulble,

they're actually both release builds I just haven't changed the file name, if you get your version from AMO then use the install.xpi, if you use the en-US specific version then install that one.
