MY home page will not stay changed!

Every time I open Firefox it defaults to this page.

http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/updated

So I go under TOOLS, OPTIONS, GENERAL and change it to google.com

then hit the HOME key and it loads google.

as soon as I close Firefox and re-open it, it goes straight back to this page again

if I hit the HOME button then it loads this page

http://www.google.com/firefox?client=fi ... S:official

All I want is for Firefox to automatically come up to Google.com. I have it set up that way on my Mac at work, but it just will not stay changed on my home PC. Am I asking too much
