I just recently noticed a problem in 1.5.0.7. It's probably caused by an extension, but I haven't gone through one by one to figure out which yet. I was hoping someone would know of the bug or conflict already and help me out before I go through all that trouble. In safe mode, this problem isn't present.
Anyway, here's what's up. If I go to customize my toolbars and then close out the dialog, my menu bar is totally grayed out and I can't access anything in it anymore (just like it is when the customize dialog is open). Also, if I right click on a toolbar, the Customize option is also grayed out.
Here's a list of my extensions. If anyone notices any possible causes, please let me know. Thanks.

If no one comes up with an answer as to which extension is the likely culprit, don't go through them one by one. Narrow it down by halves.Mattroid wrote:It's probably caused by an extension, but I haven't gone through one by one to figure out which yet.
Disable the first half. If the problem is fixed, turn on half the extensions you turned off, and keep this up until you narrow it down to the bad extension. If it isn't fixed, the problem extension is in the second half.
It's still tedious but not as bad as turning each off one by one. Don't forget to quit Firefox and restart it after turning off each half.

Nah. I did it for years when running pre-OS X Mac systems. The OSes were set up the same way, with each new thing down the pike added on to the basic OS with an extension. The conflicts could be nightmarish.Mattroid wrote:Good idea. I feel like an idiot for never thinking of that myself

For those interested, it seems to be an issue with Tab Mix Plus 0.3.0.5.
Will research and see if this is an existing bug or not. If not, I'll disable everything but TMP and see if it's a compatibility issue with another extension. If so...I guess I'll start by disabling the extensions I know have been installed in the last few days.
I'll let you know my findings.

Sure enough. It's a conflict with IE Tab 1.1.1.1 as referenced in the TMP forums:
http://tmp.garyr.net/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 214791afdf
Disabling IE Tab corrects this problem for the time being. I can get by without IE Tab better than I can without TMP

If you uninstall IE T 1.1.1.1 and reinstall 1.1.0.6 the problem will go away. Then disable the automatic update check for IE Tab. No more problems!

Ok, I've got the same issue... but don't have the IE tabs plugin. Eek!
