Smoke: Thunderbird port

Post by aaron »

It's out there, for Thunderbird 0.3 -- don't know of any bugs yet so please report them if you find them. http://mozthemes.tk

Absolutely fabulous! It is THE theme for Thunderbird, hands-down and without a doubt! Once more---the Master of Theming has pulled it off! Great job Aaron!

Now we need a port to K-Meleon. LOL! ;) (Okie, okie! For some of us it is our default...)

Peace,

This applies to all versions of smoke.

I've always been a little unhappy with the throbber.... That's the one thing that has bugged me about this theme, that the throbber wasn't good enough. What do yall think of this throbber?

That would be a great throbber, I hate Netscape logos with a passion, even though the throbber you use has an M. You could use the blue Gecko for Thunderbird, and the Red Gecko for Firebird...
I suppose for Mozilla you could still use the M, since it makes since in that Program...

If I get a good response from a few more people, I am going to use that icon for firebird, thunderbird, and the mozilla suite versions of smoke. I had to edit the source image to get the animation looking good so I don't know if different colors would be feasable. Also, a single throbber for all maintains consistency...

Better, but I still don't think blue is the best colour...
Still, it's better than the M used...

I chose blue because the text on highlight is blue... If you want to try to re-colorize the images, let me know. Here's the source of the images... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jessica.da ... ebird.html (at the bottom). I had grey, blue, and orange to choose from so I chose blue.

(I know you stole them from Jeff_pony and me.. permission granted). Do YOU want another colour? I could make it.
