With Internet Explorer, I can disabled Adobe/Macromedia Flash plugin.
How do I do it with Firefox 2?
(All Flash are annoying ads anyway, so I'm not missing anything.)
How do I disable plugins like Flash?

No, I'm not going to delete any files either.
"How do I disable a the Flash plugin with Firefox 2"?
The answer is you can't. Internet Explorer gives you control over your plugins. Firefox 2 does not. (Without 'adding extensions' which is counter-intuitive, or deleting files.)
Maybe add "Plugin Controls" to the next version of Firefox?

File a bug. Some features like "plugin control" are done in FF via extensions. That's the way it is at the moment.
You can add a suggestion for FF3 here: http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Feature ... ng:Add-ons
Why do you do not want to remove that file? You have installed it. Flash is not a part of the FF package.
BTW: MozillaZine is not related in any way to Mozilla Corp.

I don't know if this works for Flash:
Plugin Manager: http://www.gozer.org/mozilla/extensions/
Many features are added to Fx via extensions: if you would put all of them in Fx then Fx would become unworkable so choices were made.
