Splash! AKA "Splash Screen Extension" or "Splash"

Status: Stable 1.2.*
Version: 1.2.2
Info: Adds a splash screen at start, also with sound features, customize everything from loading message to font

Features:
- Option to close Splash screen immediately after browser window opens
- Button to browse locally for splash image and/or startup sound
- Auto splash image size detection and padding refactoring
- Two key words can be parsed in the text area: {appVersion} and {buildID} for example this: v{appVersion} - Build ID {buildID} would become something like this: v2.0a1 - Build ID 2006070603 in the splash screen

Known Bugs:
-If "Close with main window" is on, it is buggy due to the low system resources while starting

- Fully fixed size/dimension issues when previewing
- fixed mismatched locales
- updated Firefox and Flock maxVersion support

Notes:
A little buggy if there is little free system resources while starting, however Firefox 2.0(Mostly) fixes this bug.

Note: Due to the high ammount of emails I have been getting about transparent backgrounds I am saying this here: "background-image: none;" does not work. You must under background put "transparent" as the background

If you are having the window shade effect you must:
In about:config set "browser.preferences.animateFadeIn" to false

is this extension still incompatible with WindowBlinds?

it isnt a very utilitarian extension but it would be nice to use it.

Is it possible to have the image address be a relitive address insted of a full address. what i mean is the address to be like /splash/pic.jpg instead of C:/firefox/splash/pic.jpg the reason I am asking this, is that I want to use it with FireFox Portable which I have on my pen-drive, and on some computers my drive letter could be E: G: or K: so the full address would be different on each computer

it works, though my firefox theme (ifox metal) causes a minor cosmetic bug in the progress bar.
