ZIP files download with an error.

Post by drainyoo »

Every time I download a .zip file and try to unstuff it i get an error with the file. I checked in Safari to see if it's a file problem but they files unstuff just fine.

Any clue?

And do you use StuffIt to unzip it or OS X’s built in service (called BOM Archive Helper) ?

That was the problem. It was trying to unstuff it using Stuffit. I set it to that all .zip files unstuff in the OSX native service. Thanks.

An even better choice is The Unarchiver.
There is no dark side of the moon, really. As a matter of fact, it's all dark.
