Is there any program that can password protect Firefox's history? Basically, I want a way to prevent history from being deleted unless the user attempting to do so can input a password (preferably the privacy manager password). Is anything like that out there? Any chance on getting something like that developed?
Thanks.

There are programs that can password-protect any file. For instance, there's this free one for Windows: http://www.winguardpro.com/
Win 10 Pro x64, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6 core, 3900 MHz (4450 Turbo), AMD Radeon Vega (integrated graphics). 16GB DDR4-3200, Firefox 124.0.1, Developer Edition 125.0b5, Nightly 126.0a1.

What I meant was, I think with WinGuard Pro you might be able to password-lock the Clear Private Data dialog.
And it is free, as it says on their Web site:

It's free: WinGuard Pro is as it states FREE! Though we do offer a Premium Edition for an optional fee.

You can remove/disable some buttons, but what if the user simply switches the power off?

Okay, how about this - install the Bookmark Backup extension: http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/index.php?showtopic=13
Set the option to back up History. Then, in about:config, reset the pref bookmarkbackup.interval, which dictates how often (in minutes) the files are backed up, to a short enough time that you are confident of getting the data copied before they shut down.
Password-protect the Bookmark Backup options and the destination file for the backups. For that matter, protect about:config as well.
Sounds like a lot of hassle, somebody should create an extension to do this job.
