launch extension at startup

Post by deef »

Hi all. I'm a firebird newbie and really like the Mozilla Amazon Browser (mab) extension. Is there a way to have firebird launch this extension (or any other for that matter) at startup? I tried the following shortcut (in Win XP):

"C:\Program Files\MozillaFirebird\MozillaFirebird.exe" "c:\Program Files\MozillaFirebird\chrome\mab\content\mab.xul"

which brings up mab but it doesn't actually work -- first I get a permissions message then the searches don't function.

Thanks

You probably need to launch it with -chrome chrome:// something. Try the Extensions forum.
