Now now, lets not give him the wrong idea. Some of us happen to like the newer GUI (which, by the way, is what the current Flofox theme is based on), although I liked the older version as well, I prefer the newer one. So perhaps two version, Flock Modern and Flock Classic?

Classic - http://www.scamcity.co.uk/journal/images/flock.png

NOTE: Since those are pictures of the actual Flock theme on the Flock browser, the firefox version would not look *exactly* like either.

Yea you're right Ace... I just hope we get the Classic as well... it looks more uniform... more "together" or something.

lukash: Not yet, hopefully soon.

Hallo guys,

I just wanted to say I'm working on an update for the theme. I will post soon a dev version and will be happy if you could test it and report something I for sure will forget to fix...

Once this is finished I will consider a "Classic" version, ok??

Cheers

That would be great. It's a nice theme and deserves to be updated. I'll definitely test and report, and I'm sure others will too.

Great at this time... would be great(I inserted other theme scrollbars) for others making a Flock's scrollbars it makes more modern don't you think?

Si... Pero...

Please, believe me. I don't have the time to do tis at this moment. In four months I will have little more time, than maybe.

For now let's just fix the bugs. Improvements can be discussed later, ok? :-)

I have to also work on a home page for the theme...

Cheers

thank you very much for the updated version, sharebird - i really appreciate your work :))

one small bug, that came to my attention: i've set the "extensions.checkCompatibility" in about:config to "false" and as a result there is a permanent notice-bar in the addons-manager that warns you that there might be incompatible extensions. now when i hit the update button & there are no updates available a new bar pops up, which doesn't overlay the old bar...

Ummm, of you wouldn't understand because I wrote very but very bad the sentence...
The point is the problem of tabs...
It's the same bug of previous releases no?

There is an space unnecessary before the first tab, and that white line contrast too much maybe because tab are too gray?

I signed up for an account on Mozillazine to thank ShareBird for this awesome theme which I use as a default, with some personal tweakings. Thank you!

Also, I thought it would be fun to share a few tweaks I use in my userChrome.css file.

(for those who don't know, this file can be found at "Drive Letter:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<bunch>\chrome )

What all this does, as I understand it, is:

- draw the top menu in the native style
- remove the text on the Go button
- put back the favicons on each and every tab
- remove the search button (which I don't like in this theme)
- draw the square address bar as seen in the Flock browser

The only things I miss are the Star button attached to the address bar and the flexible separator between the address bar and the search bar. I understand that the Star button probably wont make it in this theme, unless someone figures out how to do it in the confines of the Firefox theme architecture, which ain't an easy thing to do.
